Corporate Profile

Teazel publishes mobile entertainment products and mobile utility programs. Delivering to over 20 countries in four continents, Teazel provides products to more than 70 of the world’s leading mobile operators, mobile web sites, and print channels.

Teazel is delivering a growing catalogue of Java games, developed internally in collaboration with key customers.

Teazel can quickly develop, brand and internationalise high quality games in short timescales, and arrange distribution worldwide. Branding and customising standard products is achievable in a matter of days, giving brand owners great first-to-market advantages.

Their most popular title, Sudoku, currently features on the following mobile network portals: Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, 3, New Zealand Telecom, Telefonica, and O2. It also sells via Jamster, Monster Mob and other premium SMS providers.

Background
Teazel was formed in 2002 to pursue mobile games and utilities development. In 2003 Teazel won 3’s global 3G mobile application competition with their video and photo blog application for Symbian devices, and provided bespoke GPS development for Transport for London (TFL). They also developed Fun Sounds, Minesweeper, and
Wordsearch for sale on Handango during 2004. In 2005 they developed Mobile Sudoku, which went live initially in The Times newspaper in May 2005, and subsequently spread throughout the globe within a matter of a few months. It now sells in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, Poland, New Zealand, Mexico, Italy, Portugal, Israel, Canada,
and USA.

Mobile Sudoku has been translated into seven languages and has already sold over 250,000 copies.
