Teazel is delivering a growing catalogue of Java games, developed internally in collaboration with key customers. It also sells via Jamster, Monster Mob and other premium SMS providers. Background James Brook and Richard Taylor formed Teazel in 2002 to pursue mobile games and utilities development. In 2003 Teazel won 3’s global 3G mobile application competition with their video and photo blog application for Symbian devices, and provided bespoke GPS development for Transport for London (TFL). They also developed Fun Sounds, Minesweeper, and Wordsearch for sale on Handango during 2004. In 2005 they developed Mobile Sudoku, which went live initially in The Times newspaper in May 2005, and subsequently spread throughout the globe within a matter of a few months. It now sells in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, Poland, New Zealand, Mexico, Italy, Portugal, Israel, Canada, and USA. Mobile Sudoku has been translated into seven languages and has already sold over 250,000 copies. Team Teazel is mainly made up of these two character with support from other individuals when they need it. Richard Taylor, Director, is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in developing and leading software teams, with 8 years specifically in the mobile application market.
